We are seeking a seasonal Events Volunteer Coordinator who is an organized, personable, problem solver to work with in our events team. The Events Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for recruitment of quality volunteers, placement, training, and management of those volunteers. Transportation Alternatives is a volunteer-supported organization so your work will be crucial of the success of our events. This position will be part-time, but will require night and weekend work as necessary for each event. Availability on event-day is mandatory.

We seek a Community Affairs Coordinator to help neighborhood groups across the city to win safer streets for walking, biking and play. This is a junior-level position for an articulate and outgoing person who is passionate about helping New Yorkers improve their communities and is eager to learn how to advocate for change on the local level. The Coordinator will conduct outreach and provide technical assistance to groups and individuals seeking street safety and public space improvements in all five boroughs.
