The Department of Transportation has made some excellent improvements to Second Avenue in the Village, as seen in Clarence Eckerson’s latest Streetfilm below:

And if that’s not enough goodness, Eckerson also did a video from further uptown on Second Avenue that shows the benefits of proper daylighting and left-turn control:
