I just wanted to point you to two new features here on Streetsblog.
First, if you want to receive a daily digest of Streetsblog posts via e-mail, enter your address into the little box at the right labeled “Daily e-mail digests.” Every morning you will receive the previous day’s postings in your e-mail inbox. Your address won’t be used for anything else.
Second, we’ve got a new Contributions page with all kinds of great new functionality. Here is how to get your stories, photos and tips to Streetsblog:
- Send e-mail directly to tips@streetsblog.org. Feel free to attach photos.
- Upload photos to Flickr and tag them Streetsblog.
- Tag links in del.icio.us with for:streetsblog.
- Upload videos to YouTube and tag them Streetsblog.
Aaron Naparstek is the founder and former editor-in-chief of Streetsblog. Based in Brooklyn, New York, Naparstek's journalism, advocacy and community organizing work has been instrumental in growing the bicycle network, removing motor vehicles from parks, and developing new public plazas, car-free streets and life-saving traffic-calming measures across all five boroughs. He was also one of the original cast members of the "War on Cars" podcast. You can find more of his work on his website.
