Five Borough Bicycle Club Monthly Meeting – Dr. Brian C. Halpern
5BBC's speaker this evening is Brian C. Halpern, MD, a physician affiliated with the Sports Medicine Service of New York's renowned Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Halpern is a graduate of Weill Medical College of Cornell University and is on the faculty of that institution. He has also served as associate team physician to the Mets. Dr. Halpern is board certified in primary care sports medicine and family medicine and has published articles in professional journals and sports magazines.

Riverside Ride
Join Time's Up! on bicycles or skates for a totally safe, magical, evening ride in Manhattan. As with their Moonlight Rides, they'll share the tranquillity of Central Park, plus we'll add the lovely tree canopy and grand vistas of the Hudson River from Riverside Park. The scenic tour continues down the greenway to the lovely pier where bicycles are welcome. After that, it's a pleasant ride through leafy streets back to Columbus Circle.

East River Day Waterfront Tours
New York’s waterfront is being transformed. From Brooklyn Bridge Park to Throg’s Neck on the East River alone, over 1000 acres of redevelopment is slated to occur over the upcoming years. This scale of development is an enormous opportunity - and a risk. Too much waterfront development in recent years has created sterile, privatized places that don’t do justice to New York.
