The latest streets and transportation news from Streetsblog NYC.

We’d say “good morning” but it’s the afternoon here in NYC. But this newsletter, like congestion pricing, is better late than never. But as Gersh explains in his intro to today’s headlines, we’re crossing our fingers that “late” still means “happening at all.”

As a side note, there’s been a lot of news about a bill under consideration by the City Council: Intro 606. Refresh yourself on our coverage of the contentious public hearing that took place at the Council on Wednesday, and check out this testimony from Alex Duncan, who I think did a great job of threading the needle on a complex issue.

Dive into the news as you ride safely into your weekend.
