The MTA Finance Committee is meeting today to vote on the proposed doomsday fare hikes, and Ben Kabak at Second Avenue Sagas is doing his part to make the workings of the MTA more transparent and accessible to the public. He's been liveblogging the proceedings from the beginning. Despite the dire stakes (or perhaps because of them), it's way more entertaining than any finance committee meeting has a right to be.
