This is part of the CUNY Climate Change Science Lecture Series and Exhibition on Governors Island.

CUNY is proud to present its second annual science lecture series and science exhibition on Governors Island. The exhibition will be open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays, starting June 2 and ending September 2. These events are part of a nation wide effort led by Focus the Nation, which will coordinate faculty and students at U.S. colleges, universities, and high schools to engage in a nationwide discussion centered around the theme of “Stabilizing the Climate in the 21st Century.”

Before he began blogging about land use and transportation, Aaron Donovan wrote The New York Times Neediest Cases Fund's annual fundraising appeal for three years and earned a master's degree in urban planning from Columbia. Since then, he has worked for nonprofit organizations devoted to New York City economic development. He lives and works in the Financial District, and sees New York's pre-automobile built form as an asset that makes New York unique in the United States, and as a strategic advantage that should be capitalized upon.
