At Streetsblog, we gotta hand it to Council Speaker Julie Menin. In her first month on the job, she’s already made good on a major promise: to restore outdoor dining to the full-year program is must be.
As Kevin Duggan details below (way below), she made the news early on Wednesday: to make it easier for restaurateurs, the program will no longer be seasonal, requiring eateries to set up, break down and store their outdoor dining areas for four months a year.
