    “Train Arrival Clocks Are Live on the A/C and B/D Lines” – so what are those “information screens” on the platforms for? They’ve certainly turned out to be somewhat of a flop. I rarely see people using or looking at them, and they almost never show the “next train” info by default without having to manually navigate to it. When they announced that they were installing them I immediately thought “I bet they’re lame. The MTA will see to that.” Lo and behold…..

    those just showed the scheduled arrival times.
    so, they were often useless.
    late at night I’ve found them helpful, however – even if there is the same info on city mapper or google maps.

    Are pedal-assist e-bikes legal, and throttle e-bikes illegal? If this is the case, why doesn’t EDC reach out to businesses ‘bigly’ and tell them that? And then figure out who is selling the throttle ones and serve them with legal papers.

    What’s new now is that real-time information is available at all. The On-The-Go kiosks can’t display real-time information if real-time information isn’t available.
