A cyclist was killed by a reckless driver at a badly designed Bronx intersection on Wednesday — just hours after new data showed that the Bronx is experiencing a double-digit increase in road fatalities.
Cops allegedly sent obnoxious text messages to a cyclist last week after he reported illegally parked cars blocking the bike lane and crosswalks in upper Manhattan. Again.
"We call on the city to resolve this case quickly so my clients can get closure with their lives," said Harris Marks, lawyer for Julien Mong and Marion Guillemin.
There were 15,947 reported vehicle crashes in the first quarter of 2022. The Department of Transportation examined 521 of those crash locations and took immediate action to improve safety at just three.
