The de Blasio administration's decision to stop immobilizing the vehicles of scofflaw drivers has resulted in tens of thousands of profligate violators to continue driving — and robbed the city of millions of dollars a month in revenue.
The year-old advocate's office has helped drivers dispute 381 parking summonses and won 321 dismissals, a reversal rate of more than 84 percent. That's almost double the 45 percent dismissal rate that drivers are currently enjoying.
