anybody heard anything about the accident that happened on the manhattan bridge late wednesday night/early thursday morning? I was riding the D back to brooklyn at about 1am and there was a nasty accident on the road. one car was flipped and had lost its roof, another had a totally smashed front end. saw a guy being loaded into an ambulance, but he looked okay. avoided looking too hard, but definitely one of the worst crashes i’ve ever seen. can’t find anything about it in the news!

  • Brad –

Thanks for the round-up. But in your follow-up section, the Post story is actually about a lawsuit related to pedicab crash that happened on 72nd Street in Manhattan, and has nothing to do with that crash on the Brooklyn side of the W-Burg Bridge.

  • Wow, when I hit ‘play’ on that Fox video I had to sit through an Acura commercial that showed a man punching through a wall and talking about how “powerful” the car was. Irony?

Wow – anyone know if a similar tally of carnage is available for the LA Metro area each week? Regular reader of the LA Streetsblog and I have never seen one – awesome job to all who put this together!
