  • LT

My friend was hit by an SUV while crossing 6th Avenue at Sterling in Brooklyn last Wednesday (June 10th) morning. Her ankle is broken in multiple places, and she will need surgery. If anyone witnessed the accident, please contact me. Thanks.

  • How much carnage will we tolerate before we stop subsidizing the private auto system, and make public transit fare-free? Public transit is a public investment that benefits all. We only keep the fares to protect auto, coal, and oil interests.

  • just checked other carnage news around the country.
two stories on the homepage of san diego’s local paper – one, an off duty police officer, driving on the freeway, fires his handgun into another car, hitting some lady and her kid and is found “not guilty” of road rage. and the story directly underneath, about a bicyclist who was traveling cross-country to protest government bailouts and was killed by a drunk driver, who hit and run in illinois.
    god bless america.
