Brooklyn Critical Mass

Critical Mass is a monthly celebration of bicycles and other nonpolluting means of transportation, exercising our right to the road. Critical Mass is a movement, not an organization; no two riders participate for exactly the same reason.

  • Just curious, why you don’t critical mass the last friday of the month? I understand that in Manhattan, riders get hassled by the police, maybe that’s why. Here in San Francisco, we get a police escort and the mass gets huge…lots of fun. Come join us sometime.

I’ve done the 5 borough bike tour several times when I lived there ’94-’02.

Great film by the way: “The Case for Physically Separate Bike Lanes”.

Best of luck to all you New Yorkers.
