BREAKING – NYPD Withdraws Parade Rules Change

OnNYTurf is reporting that the NYPD has withdrawn its proposed revisions to parade permit rules and that the public hearing on the matter scheduled for August 23 has been cancelled.

    story that breaks on friday afternoon gets lost in the weekend news. and while im glad that the NYPD has withdrawn their original proposal, i can only hope that the city council can finally have a discussion on basic freedoms vs. the fearfully abusive tactics of the NYPD.
